Biogas is renewable energy produced by the mixture of gases from organic matter for the purpose of clean energy production and pollution reduced. However, the challenges of biogas electricity generation is depends on the surrounding temperature which bacteria need to digest waste in the optimal temperature around 37°C.
Gladly, Gideon is having a great chance to implement our trading platform in the PEA sandbox. In this pilot project, we will focus on industrial P2P trading in the PEA site where there is a biogas plant as a producer and other plants in the industrial estate as consumers. This is the great opportunity that allows Gideon to apply our platform in other energy sources apart from solar energy.
In the first step, we focus on the connection between the work of hardware and software systems. The Automatic meter reading (AMR) will be installed and connected with our software through an API which interfaces every 15 mins. The users can real-time monitor their electricity consumption and generation. Plus, the smart bills will be generated and sent to the users on the platform.
With the cooperation between PEA and Gideon, this project will have a huge impact on the utilities’ upcoming energy management transformation which also includes suitable wheeling charge settings of ERC for supporting the trends of energy trading in the future.
Gideon has great opportunities to deploy the platform on EA Solar Nakhon Sawan power plant (ESN) as a pilot project at Nakhon Sawan, Thailand. The purpose of the project is to seek new opportunities on energy trading business.
